Two rooms, one night rooted in house music, global rhythm, and deep intention. Dead Letter No. 9 welcomes L3NI and Marcus Logan for a CARGO takeover bringing house music and global grooves to the floor. L3NI is a Brooklyn-based DJ and producer whose work spans international dance floors, residencies, and club culture across the UK, Ibiza, and beyond. Recently returning to New York after a residency in the Cayman Islands, her DJ sets are rooted in Chicago and New York house while expanding into soulful grooves, broken rhythms, and high-energy club music built for movement. Classically trained as a pianist, L3Ni approaches DJing with compositional precision. Her technical background as a mixing and mastering engineer informs a refined, detail-driven approach to sound, resulting in sets that feel immersive, physical, and intentional. Alongside her work behind the decks, she has mastered records for artists including Stephen Stills, Judy Collins, Theo Croker, and Maurice “Mobetta” Brown, bringing the same discipline and clarity into every room she plays. Joining her is Marcus Logan, a multi-disciplinary creative force whose DJ sets are driven by poly-rhythmic movement and deep grooves across broken beat, baile funk, jazz, soul, funk, world, and house. Logan’s work bridges music, culture, and global storytelling, shaped by inspirations spanning Chicago and New York house, the UK, South Africa, Brazil, and Nigeria. Whether curating dance floors or crafting soundscapes for film, fashion, and cultural institutions, his selections center inclusion, discovery, and the overlooked gems that connect generations and continents. In the Foyer, Seb Hall and Gaspar Muniz hold the room all night long. Seb Hall brings a Los Angeles–informed approach rooted in live hardware and analog performance, blending house, disco, and subtle acid elements into sets that unfold with patience and movement. Drawing from his background as a multi-instrumentalist, his performances feel fluid, melodic, and carefully built. Gaspar Muniz is a DJ, selector, and producer with roots in both the United States and Brazil, whose cultural background shapes a wide-ranging and intentional approach to the dance floor. Active in New York’s underground scene, he’s known for a sharp ear and deep vinyl practice constantly digging for rare and overlooked records while weaving in his own productions and edits. His work extends beyond the booth through his label, Banana Gold, and a growing catalog of releases and remixes, with tracks circulating among respected selectors worldwide. All night long, Gaspar’s selections move confidently across house, electro, and world-leaning sounds, creating a welcoming, energized foundation that carries the room forward.
