Photons est le dernier projet du pianiste Gauthier Toux. Figure incontournable de la nouvelle génération du jazz, il propose une techno instrumentale inspirée de ses nuits berlinoises, entouré de Julien Loutelier (Cabaret Contemporain, Sugar Sugar), Giani Caserotto (Cabaret Contemporain, Le Balcon) et Samuel F’hima (Daïda). Après avoir illuminé les Nuits Sonores avec son mélange hypnotique de jazz et de techno, Photon confirme son identité avec un premier album : La Nuit sans l’ennui. Entre bidouillage musical et improvisations de haute volée, Photon a tout d’un super-groupe qui aime autant les clubs électro que les clubs de jazz. Une musique entêtante, où l’organique et l’électronique se rencontrent et s’hybrident.
